I grew up in a very small town where I met my hubby, who has been through hell and back for me. My hubby and I could not be anymore different from each other if we tried.
He likes cows, corn, beans, tractors, hay, cows, agriculture, fences, auctions, the history channel, and cows.
Me, I like all kinds of art and art history, cats, reading, cats, graphic design, cats, color, cats, anything scary or gory on tv, and cats. I would be the crazy cat lady if I hadn’t gotten married. In fact, my Lyme Doctor blames a cat for my disease. I can’t help it. They are just so cute!!!
In fact, the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that we are both teachers of high school students in different districts. Bingo!!! And we both love our two beautiful, but ornery children very much.
My hubby and I have been together for almost 15 years and been married for almost 8. We both had visions of what our life would be at the age of 30 and it definitely wasn’t this, but when life gives you lyme…you kill the suckers.
So, right now I am on disability and can’t work, which has been so hard emotionally and financially. But, I have never seen so many students, friends, coworkers, family, and strangers pull together to help us out. It was hard to let down our pride, but we knew we couldn’t do this alone.
So, that’s a little about us! For those of you that are following and we have never met. Thanks for reading. God bless.
